These are a few of my Favorite Things! For the next few weeks and going forward I will be sharing projects and shows that I enjoy or vouch for. Both the product or service AND the people behind them are 'TOM APPROVED'.
There is no limit to the types of things I will share but there is one caveat. I will only share things that I personally vouch for. So, yes, most of these will be shows, websites, products or services of people I know to start with, but i will expand from there. If you would like me to consider adding something then please send me an email and i will look into it.
I ask only this, please do not take any of my choices personally. If you submit something to me and I do not post it there will be a reason, which could be something as simple as I haven't been able to look into it yet.

An Admirable Undertaking
A blog based on a new years resolution or a concept is not a new idea but there is one out there that I just love. A good friend of mine and former cast-mate has an amazing new years resolution to write 100 new songs in 100 days.
A little background on Rich Baker... I met and worked with Rich as part of the Conservatory program at the training center for The Second City in Chicago. He is an extremely talented actor/improvisor/teacher/director. Rich is a very busy working actor in Chicago. Rich can currently be seen acting on stages in Chicago at Comedy Sportz, in Naperville at The Comedy Shrine, in Schaumburg at the Laugh Out Loud Theater and touring all over the midwest with 'Mission Improv-able'. Speaking of touring, he can be seen giving guided tours of Chicago with the Untouchables tour under the handle 'Matches'. As if that doesn't sound like enough he is also teaching/directing shows as part of the directors program at The Second City in Chicago.
So don't be surprised at the comic slant that most of these songs take.
